WHAT WE DOThe Midway PTO works with faculty to provide
Operation Cares trips for students in need, we host annual events like Grandparents Day and the Ties and Tiara's family dance. We help with end-of-year incentives for both behavior and academic performances, provide scholarships for graduating Midway Seniors, provide resources for classrooms, teacher luncheons, snacks for students during testing, teacher appreciation gifts, and so much more! |

Operation Cares is one of our main initiatives.
This program provides shoes, new clothing, coats or jackets, and toiletries or hygiene items to Midway Elementary students in need. Members of the Midway PTO and Midway faculty take 20+ students yearly on shopping trips to local stores to clothe them for the appropriate season and ensure they have shampoo, soap, toothpaste, toothbrush, etc. We also take the kids out for a special lunch after shopping to spend some much needed one on one time! |
